School  Uniform

The school uniform colours are grey/black, royal blue and gold. The children wear grey/black skirts, pinafore dresses, trousers or shorts with white shirts and the school sweatshirt or fleece. Black school shoes or trainers without colourful branding (no boots) should be worn.

PE Kit

PE kit is blue/black shorts, a white T-shirt and trainers.

Forest Schools Kit

For each session your child will need:

• Sturdy boots or wellies;

• Warm, thick socks, long trousers, a long-sleeved top and an ‘extra layer’, perhaps a fleece or jumper;

• A waterproof jacket;

• A hat and gloves (in the winter months)

 

The children will need their named Forest School clothes in a bag which can be left at school.

 

Please note: Waterproof trousers are not essential but they can make a big difference to your child’s comfort. They can be bought relatively cheaply at outdoor shops and county stores in the local area. Although jeans are durable they take a long time to dry and are very cold to wear when wet. Trousers made from quick-drying fabrics are advisable.

 

A number of thin layers are better than one thick one and can always be removed if too warm. Sessions will go ahead even if it is raining or cold.

 

Please send clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and let your child know that at Forest School they CAN GET DIRTY and you won't mind!
